I have posted a new picture of M-51 The Whirlpool Galaxy. This is my best image of a galaxy to date. Really has great detail. I have also added a page with a chronology of my equipment from the beginning until now. I will keep it updated when I add new equipment and sell off the old stuff. You will find it here Equipment Chronology Page"

Hello folks.
Got a new image for you. A pair of galaxies in Leo. M-66 and M-65. Got these between clouds, and they turned out rather well. I am really loving my new TOA-130. Speaking of which, I have 'finally' updated the equipment page with photo's and information on my new telescope.
Also, I happened acrossed a video of the meteor that flashed western Washington back on the 3rd of June in 2004. This is an unpublished video that was taken accidently while testing a video security system in a lab in Redmond Washington. The camera was pointed out the window of the lab and caught the brightening of the parking lot. It really shows how bright the flash was.

I know, finally… Some updates!!! Well, been busy, sick and lazy!
I got a new telescope. Takahashi TOA-130. Great scope. I will post images of it at a later date.
I have posted some new images, M64, M101, M106 and M108 as well as the Lunar Eclipse. The eclipse photo's aren't the best, used my wifes Canon Rebel and a manfrotto tripod, but I forgot the lack of light during an eclipse causes the shutter to stay open, so they are a little blurry.
I will try to post mre in the coming weeks
Look Up!!!

Well, it has been fun, and hopefully it will it will continue… The skies have been clear, the moon is waning, and the milky way is barely visible from my light polluted home. I have 3 new images for you. Gamma Cyg nebula, ET Cluster and another Network nebula.
Enjoy!! I am…

Well, I got some more time to image… Clear skies and decent viewing. So I got me another shot of another piece of the Viel Nebula. Once again it is in false color. I really am enjoying the false color stuff. Really comes out well in this light polluted area.
Enjoy..

Finally, I got some clearing in the night skies…
I was finally able to do some more testing of my new Telescope. Heck, my best session was last Friday
night, the clouds cleared and seeing was a 4 of 5!!! I got a great shot of the Veil Nebula!
Now if it would just stay clear…

Well, we finally got a few fairly clear skies to work with. I did some more adjustments to my telescope, and I think I have the optics perfectly aligned, well as close as can be expected… So I posted a few images I took during these sessions. They actually turned out pretty nice for test images.
I also purchased some new narrowband filters. The Oxygen III and the Sulfer II filters. Along with my Hydrogen Alpha filters I will be able to do some color mapped images. However I will have to wait for my remote guide camera, which is on back order and my new filter wheel that can handle all of my filters without me having to change them physically…
